L ‘Annonciade
This chapel is a proof that Saint Tropez knew art in the 16th century. It features works of Signac, Henri Matisse, BraqueVallotton, Delaunay and Bonnard. Here you will find collection of early modern movements from 1890 0nwards.
Saint TropezHarbor
You are bored of visiting museums and other old buildings, bars, restaurants and you feel that you have gone much into your pocket? Then at least while at Saint Tropez Harbor you don’t have to pay anything. Walk across the streets and take a stroll across jean reveille jetty. Enjoy the view of the yachts around and bask in the morning sunlight. You also get to meet painters in quayside and survey their beautiful work.
Coastal walk
Instead of sitting around, have this splendid walk to Pampelonne beaches. Take as much time as you want and walk for as long distance as you wish. Pampelonne beach is long and can take you around three and half hours to reach the end. It is the longest bay in Saint Tropez and has so many sub beaches. View the coastal flora and maritime sceneries. Enjoy the feeling of the white sand and warm waters along the shore.
Church of Notre Dame de l’Assomption
Visiting saint Tropez is not worthy without having a view of this beautiful large church in the town. Be welcomed by the lovely artwork inside. Views of other places from the location of the church is stunning.
Citadel
This 16th century building is located at the top of a green and wooded hill. It was built to defend the coast and the Tropezians. Get outside of this citadel, and from here the view across the village and the sea are magnificent.St Tropez maritime history museum is located inside their citadel. This museum shows the relationship between the sea and the town over the years.
Club 55
While in Pampelonne beach, have lunch in this area that was started by Brigitte Bardot and the crew when they went to shoot a movie. The hat they erected has now become permanent structures.
La Tarte Tropezienne
Visit this bakery that was started by Alexandre Micka but it was named by Bardot while filming a movie. Taste this lovely dessert that was introduced by this man. This delicious desert contains brioche, whipped cream and crème patissiere.
